Each week, Somerset County folk musician Diana Wagner brings you an eclectic blend of folk and blues from the Chesapeake Bay Region and from around the world. Whether you like traditional folk, acoustic contemporary folk, Delta and Piedmont blues, or something in between, you will find it here.

It’s a Howlin’ good time with more tunes and less BS!

Inspirational Jazz

Legendary musicians such as Kirk Whalum, Ben Tankard and Ramsey Lewis, vocalists including Kim Burrell, Gregory Porter and Shirley Murdock, and a variety of lesser known but no less gifted artists, collaborate to present this unique genre to satisfy both gospel fans and jazz enthusiasts everywhere.

 

 


Just Jazz

Just Jazz, with Stan Rayford, is one hour of classic jazz pieces from great musicians including Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Dave Brubeck, Bob James, Duke Ellington, along with vocalists like Diana Krall, Al Jarreau, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Nancy Wilson and more.  If you're a jazz enthusiast you'll enjoy the full long play versions of many of these classic tunes.  You'll get a taste of jazz from the big band era as well as a sampling from classic, contemporary and smooth jazz.


Lady Spins the Blues

From our friends at WHCP in Cambridge, Maryland, Dr. Donna rolls out the music that turns her world, from contemporary artists to down-in-the-basement juke joint crooners. The Doctor plays it all, but has a tender spot for the ladies of the blues, and soulful men with a song to sing.

Rockabilly N Blues Radio Hour
